Here's a selection from an an e-mail we received today from Matt Cliffords today about a session he was doing with Mick Jagger: "Dear Peluso People
Greetings from London and Happy Christmas! I recently borrowed one of your P-67 mics ... to use on some sessions with Mick Jagger in Paris. I've worked with Mick, writing and producing, for twenty years since touring with the Stones on the Steel Wheels tour. I was intrigued to compare it with the U-67 we'd recently hired to complete some of the "new/old" tracks for the Some Girls re-issue box set.
Suffice to say it measured up great. I used it to record Mick's vocal, acoustic and some percussion overdubs. He called it "The Sparkler"! (I think this was a reference to the shiny finish rather than the sound quality!) ... your mics offer exactly the sort of combination of "vintage" sound quality and modern reliability that I'm looking for in my production work with the Stones and others.
Anyhow, I just wanted to say 'keep up the good work'!
Regards
Matt."

We got a message from Jack Douglas today raving about his P-67's, and how he's using them on a new Arrowsmith album. "My Peluso 47 and one of my pair of 67's. These are absolutely true to the originals, only new. Kind of a "time warp" thing. They sound amazing! They were a big part of this new Aerosmith album I just produced and I plan on them being a big part of everything else I do." -Jack Douglas
